Victoria Ekanoye
Victoria Ekanoye is an actress and singer best known in the UK for her role as Angie Appleton in ITV's flagship soap Coronation Street - and in the US for her role as Rachel, Elizabeth Hurley's side-kick, in Lionsgate's hit show, The Royals. More recently, Victoria starred in Lionsgate’s Christmas in Paradise, opposite a-listers Kelsey Grammar, Billy Ray Cyrus, Nathalie Cox and her Royals co-star Elizabeth.
Victoria has also starred as feisty Miranda Priestley in BBC One’s Death in Paradise, the Christmas Special of CBBC's Almost Never, opposite Kimberley Wyatt from the Pussycat Dolls, as music executive Ashley. She made her Netflix debut as the fabulous and flamboyant Mistress Nightshade in the hugely successful reboot of The Worst Witch and filmed a guest appearance in BBCs Doctors as Kate Bennett.
Outside of acting, she wowed audiences on ITV's first ever Celebrity X Factor, and has since been busy in the studio writing her own material and recording guest vocals on a number of exciting new tracks.
Victoria's career began in the multi-award-winning west end show, The Lion King, and since then she has performed at The Royal Variety Show, The Olivier Awards, The Queen's Diamond Jubilee and went on to star in the World Tour of hit cult show, The Blues Brothers.
