Nikki Sanderson

Actress Nikki has appeared on our screens in various roles for the past 26 years and counting. Her career started in 1999 when she joined the cast of ITV's flagship soap Coronation Street portraying the role of Candice Stowe, until exiting the role in 2005.

Following her departure, Nikki showcased her versatility by appearing in various television roles including Holby City, New Street Law and Strictly Confidential before landing the role of Dawn Bellamy in Heartbeat, from 2008 to 2009.

In 2012, Nikki then took on the role of Maxine Miniver in the Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks, a character that has become one of her most notable portrayals. Her performance as Maxine has earned her several award nominations including Best Serial Drama Performance (2015) at the National Television Awards.

Aside from acting, Nikki has also taken part in Celeb SAS for Stand Up 2 Cancer and ventured into presenting, contributing to shows such as CD:UK, Junior Eurovision: The British Final and Ministry of Mayhem.

Her diverse talents have solidified her as a prominent figure within British television.
