Katie McGlynn's Coronation Street Leaving Party

This was a very special one for us; not only did we get to plan one of the biggest and most widely publicised Coronation Street leaving parties in recent years, but we also had the pleasure of helping one of our own talent clients say goodbye to her time on the cobbles in style.

It was an honour to be part of Sinead Tinker's farewell party, after a phenomenal seven years of Katie playing the role, for which Katie won a National Television Award for Best Serial Drama Performance.

Taking Katie's unique sense of humour and quirkiness into account, we organised, managed and secured press coverage for the bash, which was held at Mahiki Nightclub in Manchester. 

Some of our favourite elements from the night were our magical selfie mirror with a specially designed frame in Coronation Street style. The event also boasted a Sinead funeral wreath, which quickly became the go-to spot for all of our guests to snap photos in front of.

Their were various Sinead Tinker face masks capturing some of Katie's moments on screen, giant balloons brandishing various images of Sinead in some of her unique costumes, and a Coronation Street branded feature wall full of images and memories from Katie's seven years on the soap.

On the night we also surprised Katie with a video montage of Sinead's 'best bits' looking back at her iconic role.
