Having qualified as a Medical Doctor in 2009 from Kings College London, he began his early surgical experience with medical electives at Harvard Medical School and the Trauma Centre in Dubai. Further surgical training at Queens Medical Centre Nottingham and John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford enabled him to learn from some of the best surgeons in general surgery, plastics and otolaryngology. Neurosurgical and intensive care training was carried out at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield.
