Anthony Quinlan

Anthony is a British actor best known for his longstanding roles in Hollyoaks and Emmerdale. 

He first gained widespread recognition for his role as Gilly Roach in Hollyoaks. He joined the cast of the Channel 4 soap in 2005 and remained with the show until 2011. His character was a rebellious, troubled young man who often found himself at the centre of dramatic storylines. 

After leaving, he joined the cast of ITV’s Emmerdale portraying the character Pete Barton, from 2013 to 2020. A complex character with a turbulent personal life. Pete’s storylines involved themes of family conflict, romantic relationships, and personal growth. 

He has also made guest appearances on other television series including Doctors and London Kills.

Outside of acting, he has become known for his dedication to the health and fitness industry, as a vegan supplements business owner and qualified personal trainer, often sharing fitness content and healthy lifestyle tips on social media.
